1. Your Right to Erasure
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA 2023), you have the right to request deletion of your personal data held by Nandaka Interactive Private Limited.
This right applies to all personal data we hold about you, including account information, gameplay data, payment records, and communications.
We will fulfil erasure requests within 30 days of verification. We will acknowledge receipt within 72 hours.
Note: Deleting your account is permanent and irreversible. All associated characters, items, progress, and purchases will be permanently lost.
Irreversible Action
Account deletion cannot be undone. Characters, progress, and all virtual goods will be permanently lost. You will not receive a refund for any purchases.
2. What Gets Deleted
Upon a verified erasure request, we will delete or anonymize the following:
• Account credentials (email, password hash, username)
• Character data (name, stats, skills, inventory, position)
• Gameplay logs and activity history
• Chat messages (where technically feasible)
• Payment method details (note: these are stored by our payment processor, not by us)
• Session tokens and authentication data
• Marketing preferences and communication history
• Device identifiers and IP logs older than 90 days
3. What We Retain
Certain data must be retained for legal or operational reasons, even after an erasure request:
• Transaction records (as required by Indian tax law for a minimum of 5 years)
• Records of Terms of Service violations or bans (retained for 3 years to prevent circumvention)
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked to your identity
• Data required for pending legal proceedings or regulatory investigations
Retained data will be isolated from active systems and deleted as soon as the retention obligation lapses.
Where deletion is not technically feasible, we shall anonymize the personal data and/or restrict processing to the extent permissible by applicable law. Some data may persist in system backups for a limited period until overwritten.
Tax & Legal Records
GST and transaction records are retained for 5 years as required by Indian tax law. These records do not include gameplay data.
4. Timeline
72 hours — We will acknowledge receipt of your deletion request and begin identity verification.
7 days — Identity verification completed. We will confirm your request is valid and inform you of the deletion schedule.
30 days — All eligible data deleted or anonymized. We will send a deletion confirmation email.
If we are unable to fulfill your request within 30 days due to legal obligations, we will notify you of the reason and estimated extended timeline.
5. How to Request Deletion
To submit a data deletion request, email privacy@legendsofhastinapur.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request — [Your Username]".
Include: your registered email address, your in-game username, a brief statement that you are requesting erasure under DPDPA 2023.
We will verify your identity before processing the request. You may be asked to confirm ownership of the email address or provide additional verification.
You may also submit a deletion request through the in-game Settings → Account → Delete Account flow, which initiates the same process.

6. Other Data Rights
Under DPDPA 2023 and our Privacy Policy, you also have the right to:
• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Portability — Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw Consent — Withdraw consent for specific data processing activities.
