Parental Consent Notice

Legends of Hastinapur is rated for players aged 13 and above. Players under the age of 13 are not permitted to create accounts or use our services.

Players aged 13–17 (minors) may use our services with parental or guardian consent. By completing the age gate and entering the game, a minor represents that a parent or guardian has reviewed and accepted our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on their behalf.

Players who are 18 or older are not subject to additional parental consent requirements.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA 2023), we are required to obtain verifiable parental consent before processing personal data of minors (players under 18).

For players aged 13–17, the age gate serves as the initial consent mechanism. By entering the date of birth and proceeding, a parent or guardian confirms they are aware of and consent to the minor's use of the service.

We may implement additional consent verification mechanisms in future updates to comply with evolving DPDPA 2023 regulatory guidance.

For players aged 13–17, we apply additional protections beyond our standard Privacy Policy:

• No targeted advertising based on personal data

• No sale or sharing of personal data with third-party advertisers

• Reduced data retention periods — account data deleted within 90 days of account closure

• No profiling for commercial purposes

• In-game purchase notifications include reminders about parental guidance

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the game service to minor players.

We recommend the following parental control measures for guardians of minor players:

• Enable spending limits on the payment method linked to the account (via your bank or UPI app)

• Use device-level parental controls (Google Family Link for Android, Screen Time for iOS/macOS)

• Review your child's in-game purchases via the purchase history in account settings

• Set up email notifications for account activity by keeping the registered email accessible to the parent

Contact support@legendsofhastinapur.com to request account-level purchase restrictions for a minor's account.

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

• Review the personal data collected about your minor child

• Request correction of inaccurate data

• Request deletion of your child's account and associated personal data

• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

• Restrict in-game purchases on your child's account

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@legendsofhastinapur.com with subject "Minor Data Rights — [Account Email]". You will be asked to verify your identity and relationship to the minor.

We may require additional verification steps to establish parental consent, which may include confirmation through the parent's contact method or other verification mechanisms.

Withdrawal of consent may result in account closure and loss of access to the Game and any associated virtual items, without refund, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
